Bose is now a member of Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), a collaborative cross-industry effort developing an open platform for the connected car. Specifically, Mr. Pelliccio discussed introducing new features and unconventional solutions to solving problems. He addressed specific Bose technologies such as Active Sound Management that can add value by helping car makers improve sound characteristics, vehicle dynamics and fuel efficiency. He also spoke about non-entertainment features including Bose Aware signal steering which can add a new dimension to driver awareness with precise placement of vehicle sound signals and warnings.
